Amy is a principal at McGuire Igleski & Associates who expertly leads clients through a wide range of projects including exterior additions and restorations, interior renovations, accessibility upgrades, and feasibility studies. She excels at integrating new materials within a structure’s historic fabric while maximizing usable space.
Amy takes a holistic approach to every project, focusing on contemporary user expectations and sustainable practices, while respecting the narrative of historic buildings. Her solutions draw on her early exposure to engineering and construction through her familial relationships and are balanced by her architectural and preservation training.
An Evanston resident, Amy enjoys the lakefront with her husband and two children and remains active through running and biking. She enjoys knitting as a creative outlet and supports mental health awareness.
