Facing moisture infiltration issues, Niños Heroes Elementary School underwent an extensive facade alteration in which the existing second and third story stucco panel cladding was removed and replaced with new brick veneer in a complementary color. McGuire Igleski led the work, which also included tuckpointing of the existing masonry, new aluminum windows and replacement of coping caps and flashing. On the interior, work included mechanical repairs, ceiling and wall repairs and new window treatments.
