Sarah is a principal at McGuire Igleski & Associates who guides complex renovation and rehabilitation projects that include interior, exterior envelope, and accessibility and life safety upgrade projects in existing and historic buildings. Her keen eye for detail and comprehensive understanding of diverse building types helps her solve her client’s most unique architectural challenges.

Sarah believes that preservation architecture provides opportunities to honor historic character while meeting contemporary needs and extending the usable life of otherwise underutilized buildings. She moves projects forward through open collaboration with clients and experts, anticipating challenges from concept through completion.

As a lifelong Chicagoland resident, Sarah loves the area for its diverse neighborhoods and ­­architecture. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the city with her dog, playing tennis and relaxes by crafting and reading.
